Is AWS down right now?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is Amazon's cloud platform, so an AWS outage can affect many apps and websites at once. We check aws.amazon.com every 2 minutes.

AWS not working for you?
If we show AWS as up but it won't load for you, try these steps:
- Sign out and back in. Expired sessions cause many 'not loading' errors.
- Check whether your company network, VPN or firewall blocks AWS.
- If the website fails, try the desktop or mobile app, or the other way round.
- Check AWS's official status page for problems with specific features.

AWS posts official updates about outages and maintenance on its status page.

Is AWS down right now?
No. AWS is up and responding normally as of our last check (1 min ago). If it isn't working for you, the problem is probably on your side, so try the fixes on this page.
Why is AWS not working for me?
If AWS is up for us but not for you, the cause is usually local: an outdated browser cache, a DNS problem, your internet connection, a VPN or ad blocker, or an out-of-date app. Work through the steps under "AWS not working for you?" above.
How do you check if AWS is down?
Our server requests https://aws.amazon.com/ every 2 minutes from outside your network. If AWS answers at all, even with a redirect or a sign-in page, we count it as up. Timeouts, refused connections, DNS failures and 5xx server errors count as down. Press "Check now" to run a live test at any time.
Does AWS have an official status page?
Yes. AWS posts official status updates at health.aws.amazon.com.
